Terms of Service
Effective April 25, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Talli mobile app and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Talli (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Talli administrator account. Children under 13 may use Talli only through a child account created by their parent or legal guardian, who acts as the family administrator.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@talliapp.co if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Talli offers paid subscription tiers via the Apple App Store. Pricing, billing intervals, and trial terms are shown on the in-app paywall before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in the iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service.
- Submit content that is harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or harmful to children.
- Use the Service to abuse, exploit, or endanger a child.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Talli (display names, avatars, photos, task descriptions). You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process that content as needed to operate the Service — including processing task verification photos with Google Vertex AI to score completion.
6. AI-generated scores
Talli uses AI to provide initial automated scores for task verification photos. These scores are estimates intended to assist family administrators, who retain full discretion to approve, adjust, or reject any submission. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI- generated score.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talli will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continuing to provide the Service becomes commercially impractical.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
